Ansley Johnson Cotton has always had a passion for design. It started a long time ago when she starting collecting business cards as a child. Over the years, she found ways to express her creativity through art and design. In 2004, she moved from her hometown of Leesburg, Georgia to South Carolina where she attended Clemson University (Go Tigers!). During her studies at Clemson, she completed two full-time graphic design internships and went on to receive her bachelors degree in Graphic Communications in 2008. Immediately following graduation, she started working for an advertising agency in the upstate of South Carolina. This agency would be her home for nearly six years. During her employment in advertising, she was fortunate to grow as the business grew. She managed the design jobs through all phases; concept, design, revisions and production. This included everything from billboards, logos and mailers to websites and email blasts and social media. She dealt directly with clients as well as sales representatives and vendors all while giving the interns the experience they needed. Her time was valuable and the knowledge gained prepared her to move back to her hometown of Leesburg, Georgia in 2014 with her two children, Ethan (8) and Charley Jane (5) to open Etch Creative. Etch Creative was named for her children, EThan and CHarley, because they are who inspire her day in and day out. Ansley loves southwest Georgia and all that comes with it. She loves working as a graphic designer/website developer and helping clients to grow and succeed!
